Notes

This painting is the one seen by Fredrik Sjöberg in Stockholm that began his research into Widforss' life that led to his 2006 book Flyktkonsten (The Art of Flight, or Escape Artist in the English edition).

Frederick Sjöberg referred to it as "Roskärstallen." Roskärs = Roslagen, coastal region and archipelago tallen = "pine tree"
