Grisslehamn is an old fishing village In the area of Roslagenin in the northern archipelago. It was a popular vacation spot in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century for rich Stockholmers who would spend their summers there. The Widforss family spent summers in Grisslehamn. The artist Albert Engström (1869 – 1940) had a studio in Grisslehamn.
