Menu cover for the Ahwahnee dining room. The set of Widforss' paintings of Yosemite that were reproduced as a postcard set were also used for many years as covers for menus printed daily for Yosemite Park and Curry Company restaurants and snack bars.  Printed by H. S. Crocker Co. Inc. San Francisco.

The Ahwahnee Hotel opened July 16, 1927 and was designed by architect Gilbert Stanley Underwood. Underwood  also designed Zion Lodge, Bryce Canyon Lodge, and Grand Canyon North Rim Lodge.
